Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol Certification (2 days)

The Red Dot Sight (RDS) pistol training course is a comprehensive program designed to teach individuals how to safely and effectively use a pistol with a red dot sight. The benefits of taking this course include:

  • Improved accuracy

  • Speed in target acquisition

  • Increased confidence in firearm handling

  • Development of proper shooting techniques

 

This training is suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters looking to enhance their skills. With hands-on instruction from certified instructors and valuable range time, participants will leave the course with a solid understanding of using a red dot sight pistol to their advantage in any shooting scenario.

Gear list:

  • Pistol with mounted Red Dot Sight

  • Belt mounted holster 

  • 3 magazines with a way to carry on your person.

  • Eye and ear protection

  • 800 rounds of pistol ammunition

RDS Pistol Refresher (1 day) *

This course will confirm that you have retained the information learned in the RDS certification course, then quickly progress to enhancing your skills.  RDS Pistol refresher will teach you to be faster and allow you to shoot further with the RDS pistol. 

  • Close range engagements

  • Extended range engagements

  • Multiple targets

  • Moving and shooting

  • Stress shooting

* Prerequisite is a RDS Pistol Certification course from an agency or recognized instructor.

Precision Rifle 1 (2 days)

Precision Rifle 1 is a comprehensive program designed for individuals looking to begin learning how to shoot a precision rifle.  This class is designed to teach the beginner and enhance the capabilities of experienced rifle shooters. If you are a hunter, competitor, or a law enforcement sniper this course will increase your abilities.  This class is designed for a bolt action rifle capable of 1 MOA of accuracy or better.

*If you are assigned a semi-auto precision rifle that meets or exceeds the accuracy standard you are welcome to attend.

  • Safety

  • Fundamentals of marksmanship

  • Rifle and scope selection and set up.

  • Internal, External, Terminal ballistics

  • Data collection on your rifle

  • Use of ballistic app

  • Collection of your DOPE

  • Range estimation and verification

  • Introduction to shooting in the wind

 

The benefits of taking this course include improved accuracy and consistency in long-range shooting, increased confidence in firearm handling, and the development of advanced shooting techniques.  Additionally, learning under the watchful eye of an instructor will shorten the learning curve and save hundreds of rounds of ammunition and it will save you frustration.

** Several lifelong hunters have taken this training and have reported back that the skills taught gave them the confidence to take ethical shots on animals that they would have never attempted prior to this training.

** This training has been the foundation for multiple law enforcement officers to attend sniper schools and pass without any issues.

Carbine 1 (3 days)

The Carbine 1 course is designed to take a shooter with little to no experience with an AR style rifle and give them the skills to employ the rifle in their role whether that is a law enforcement officer, school security, or private citizen. 

  • Safety

  • Understanding of deadly force policy and governing laws

  • Weapon nomenclature

  • Disassembly, reassembly, function checking

  • Carbine set up and accessories

  • Fundamentals of marksmanship

  • Zero selection

  • Zeroing

  • Standing, kneeling, sitting

  • Use of cover and concealment

  • Supported shooting

  • Moving and shooting

  • Multiple target engagements

 

This curriculum has been delivered to hundreds of law enforcement officers, school security, private security, and civilians with great success and positive feedback.

Gear list:

  • AR pattern rifle or carbine

  • Red dot or 1x optic

  • 2 magazines

  • Sling (2 point adjustable is our recommendation)

  • Eye and hearing protection

  • 750 rounds of training ammunition (55gr ball)

Carbine Refresher (1 day)

Carbine refresher is designed to be your skill sustainment training.  For the professional end user, we recommend a minimum of quarterly training.  

Carbine refresher will begin with a brief period to ensure the user has retained the information from their Carbine 1 course.  Carbine refresher will then push to enhance the capabilities of the user offering skills to shoot more accurately, faster, and farther.

Gear list:

  • Properly set up AR pattern rifle or carbine and 2 magazines

  • Eye and hearing protection

  • 60 rounds of training ammunition

Scoped Carbine Class (2 days)

The Scoped Carbine Class is designed to teach you how to get the full benefits of having a scoped mounted to an AR pattern rifle or carbine.  This set up has many names: SPR, RECCE, Designated Marksman, and LPVO.  Whichever name you wish to use, we will teach you the best way to get the most out of your set up.

Following the proven principles of the fundamentals of marksmanship we will have you shooting to the ballistic capability of your system.

  • Safety

  • Fundamentals of marksmanship

  • Rifle and scope selection and set up.

  • Selection and use if accessories: bipods, offset optics, slings

  • Internal, External, Terminal ballistics

  • Data collection on your rifle

  • Use of ballistic app

  • Collection of your DOPE

  • Range estimation and verification

  • Introduction to shooting in the wind

Gear list:

  • AR pattern semi-automatic carbine or rifle in 5.56 or larger

  • Variable power magnified optic (a mil/mil scope is our recommendation)

  • Bipod and sling

  • Rear bag

  • 400 rounds of ammunition (match ammunition is our recommendation)

Law Enforcement Patrol Rifle Instructor (4 days)

The Law Enforcement Patrol Rifle Instructor course is a comprehensive training program designed for law enforcement officers responsible for teaching patrol rifle use and tactics to fellow officers. This course covers advanced firearm handling skills, shooting techniques, and tactical scenarios commonly encountered by law enforcement. Participants will also learn about effective training methodologies, range design and management, and the legal considerations surrounding using patrol rifles. The benefits of taking this course include the following:

 

  • Increased proficiency in patrol rifle use

  • The ability to effectively instruct others

  • A deeper understanding of the role and responsibilities of a patrol rifle instructor

 

With hands-on instruction from experienced instructors and practical scenario-based training, participants will leave the course with the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patrol rifle training to their colleagues.

This course provides the student the opportunity to develop lesson plans and conduct teach backs to their fellow students and instructors.

Must be a certified firearms instructor from a recognized association.  State of Florida, NRA, or other recognized body is acceptable.
